Lady's cornbread recipe was born in 1885 when she made it as a side dish for JC's ribs and pulled pork during BBQ competitions. Each time the ribs and pulled pork would win a blue ribbon our family joked that it was really Lady's cornbread that won. Lady still makes her amazing cornbread for family, catered events and in hers and JC's BBQ restaurant. It's just too good not to share.
